“We found Fort George within ten minutes of searching ‘island weddings’ after our engagement. Even though we had never been to Vis or Fort George, we instantly fell in love and knew this was the perfect venue. From the offset, Marina was incredibly helpful assisting us with all aspects of the wedding. When we eventually got around to viewing the venue in person a few months before our day, we were not disappointed! The space was perfect, the wine and food was delicious. In addition, the staff were fantastic and really seemed to make the effort with our guests. We will never forget the amazing sunset meal followed by dancing until 3am. The icing on the cake, when the lights went off, was seeing the Milky Way beaming down at us. From start to finish the whole day was incredible. Many of our friends and family commented that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to (That was from some of the older guests too!) If you are considering Fort George as a venue, then do not hesitate. You will not regret it.”
